Here at Western Training, we cover skills pertaining to planning and preparing for operations, operate machine in line with established requirements, Attach, secure, lift, carry and place materials to complete work activity, Select, remove, fit and use attachments for a telescopic materials handler,
and Conduct housekeeping activities
The unit consists of a theoretical assessment to be completed, practical observations witnessed by a qualified assessor, followed by the completion of job safety management documentation relating to the practical skills performed.
Western Training can provide training for operators of all skill levels:
Full course – 1 day course (8 hour day)
We are a nationally recognised training organisation, candidates that successfully complete the course will be provided with a statement of attainment and competency card for RIIHAN309F – Conduct telescopic materials handler operations
Courses and VOC’s (verification of competency) can be performed at the candidate’s worksite provided adequate equipment is available to conduct the assessment.
Requirements
Must have good verbal and written comprehension of the English language
Must have good general health and fitness for practicals
Must wear long sleeved shirt, long leg pants and steel cap boots
Must hold a USI (unique student identifier) number.
