Graduates Achieve Employment Success!

In a celebration of determination, achievement, and progress, Western Training, in collaboration with Connect Site Services, proudly commemorates the recent graduation of candidates from both the ‘Introduction to Civil’ and ‘Women in Civil’ training programmes. The graduation ceremony, held on Friday, marked the culmination of a transformative journey for these individuals, propelling them into the thriving civil construction industry. We are proud to announce a remarkable 100% success rate in securing employment for these candidates! In the upcoming weeks, 100% of our graduates will initiate their roles and begin work on major projects throughout Perth, with some who already commenced their engagements as of Monday! This achievement speaks volumes about the dedication of the graduates and everybody involved, congratulations!

The graduation of both programme’s participants signifies a significant step forward in their career paths. Equipped with a comprehensive toolkit of machine tickets, experience and knowledge, these graduates are now prepared to make substantial contributions to the civil industry. With a focus on fostering a diverse and inclusive workforce, the ‘Women in Civil’ programme aims to break down gender barriers and empower women to excel in traditionally male-dominated fields.

The success of this cohort would not have been possible without the unwavering support of various companies that guided the graduates from the program’s inception to its completion. Capt2020, MatchWorks, Wise Employment, Laing O’Rourke, Fulton Hogan, and S2ME Alliance have been instrumental in not only providing opportunities for learning but also in facilitating pathways to employment. Their commitment to nurturing talent has played a vital role in shaping the futures of these graduates.

“Thank you for sharing and having us involved. It was a fantastic graduation and effort by all involved. Great to see the positive outcomes.”
